Can I remove someone who isn’t my ex?
Yes. It works on anyone in a photo: a friend you fell out with, a photobomber, or anyone who spoils an otherwise good picture.
Can I remove my ex but keep my kids in the photo?

What if the result doesn’t look right?
Every photo includes one free second edit. Use it to try again or describe the person more specifically. If the person is still there in a paid edit, choose “Report: person still there” on the result and your credit comes back automatically, up to 3 times every 30 days.
What if an edit fails?
You get the credit back automatically. We also check results, and if the person is still there we try once more before counting it as a failed edit.
Do credits expire?
No. Use them whenever you want.
Is Remove Your Ex free?
Creating an account is free. Editing a photo uses one credit, and you buy credits in packs on the pricing page. New accounts start with 0 credits.
Is there a subscription?
No. You buy a credit pack once, and credits never expire. One credit edits one photo, including its free second edit.
Can I get a refund?
Credit purchases are final, except where the law requires a refund. Failed edits and reported results return credits, not cash. The Terms of Service have the details.
What photos can I use?
JPEG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, or HEIC, up to 20 MB each and 10 at a time. You can make up to 20 edits a day.
What happens to my photos?
Your originals and results are stored privately for up to 90 days so you can download them, then deleted automatically. You can delete them sooner from My photos. Photos and removal instructions are sent to Google Gemini through Vertex AI to make the edit. Deleted copies can stay in restricted recovery systems for up to 7 days.
